angelic
equine
delicate, effeminate, graceful, shy
Every bit the angel, Angelus is a sweet and timid creature, and often does not see the dark in the world for his naivety. He understands the concept of cruelty all too well, and has, since a very young age, hated shadows, especially his own. He believes his shadow to be possessed by a demon, who whispers in his ear with a poisoned tongue. Perhaps this lusus naturae is the embodiment of his own dark side, and by channeling this into his shadow, he maintains his innocence and gentleness.
He grew up in the care of his older brother, who in his eyes could do no wrong, though in reality his sibling was of a much darker nature than outward appearance told. Angelus does not understand love fully, having only a most basic grasp of it, mostly thanks to his brother, who, in the interest of power, made his younger sibling fall in love with him. Angelus knows very little of social boundaries, and usually shies from all but the most formal and polite contact or holds nothing back in the most literal form of 'all or nothing'.
In looks, he is a very attractive creature, small and dainty, made up of supple curves and gentle dips and lines, though he is at fault in that his appearance screams neither male nor female, and he often finds himself too feminine to be of interest to mares and (more importantly, considering his preferences) too masculine to be anything but an oddity of nature to stallions.
